As more companies are moving to the cloud, it is essential to understand which tools can be used to successfully migrate our existing applications. For this talk, you will be introduced to the Amazon Web Services Application Migration Service (AWS MGN) — an AWS provided service used for flexible, reliable, and highly automated “lift and shift” migration to AWS Cloud. The speaker will give an overview of this migration tool as well as provide a run-through on the basic steps needed when using this service. Through this discussion, the main goal is to understand AWS MGN, its benefits and features, and how it can be leveraged for seamless migration to AWS for our future projects.
