TOKYO, Japan — Two new features is launched for a new game developed by The Pokémon Company (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara) together with GAME FREAK Inc., and KOEI TECMO GAMES for the Nintendo Switch 2. Called Pokémon Pokopia, this game offers a relaxing setting to build new habitats for these creatures.

Limited-Time Event “More Spores for Hoppip” begins Tuesday, March 10
Hoppip, the Cottonweed Pokémon will be arriving in town. Collect special cotton spores available during the event period and become friends with Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff!
These are Pokémon which can’t be encountered outside of the event period in this title. Become friends with them by fulfilling certain requirements during this event period. Exchange cotton spores collected during the event for items such as picnic-themed furnitures. By creating habitats with those items, Skiploom and Jumpluff can be acquired as friends in the game. Take part in the event and enjoy developing a town which matches the season.

Note: This event will only appear in towns with a rebuilt Pokémon Center. It will not appear on Cloud Islands. In-game limited-time events will be periodically held in this title. The first event is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, March 10.
