From what was supposed to be a small, intimate gathering of like-minded individuals, DashCon 2022: Digital Marketing Conference in Cebu City ended up as a highly-successful in-person community event for entrepreneurs, content creators, and marketing leaders.

It was attended by roughly 100 creatives and entrepreneurs from 27 companies across different industries – digital marketing, architecture, software development, fintech, outsourcing, sales & marketing, e-commerce, traditional micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), and other startups.

The warm industry welcome for DashCon 2022 only reinforced the unfulfilled gap in the market, which conference organizer ContentDash has already started to address.

Many MSMEs are currently looking for creators to produce quality content to help them increase sales, build brand awareness, and reach out to more people. Others new in the field want to learn more about social media and digital marketing strategies and platforms. Freelance creators are interested in widening their horizons to connect to more businesses.

“We are building the future of work for digital marketers – like our flagship DashoContent where we match brands to vetted content creators. We are unleashing the power of tools plus humans to assist in digital marketing. And as we build our product and our community, we want to share our journey. This is where DashCon comes in,” said Fleire Castro, ContentDash Founder and CEO.

DashCon 2022 brought the different stakeholders together to maximize marketing opportunities. The event allowed participants to gain insights on how to grow their business, learn from their peers, and build their professional network.

“This was our little gift for our community of fellow business owners and digital marketing professionals, a platform and venue for us to geek out about trends, tools, and tricks in this ever-changing field of digital marketing. We wanted them to find value at DashCon as we at ContentDash share our mission of empowering MSMEs and creators in Southeast Asia through content,” Castro added.

Fleire Castro also joined the sessions.

The event included panel discussions on opps and tools for MSMEs, brand storytelling and content creation, influencer marketing and creatorship, community and the gig economy, and growth marketing and data in digital marketing.
