Responsibilities
- Build solutions for users and customers to meet agreed business requirements
- Create quality mockups and prototypes
- Ensure that high graphic standards are implemented with brand consistency
- Design mobile application and web application based features that are slick and compelling
- Build reusable code for future use as well as write documentation and guides
- Contribute to design of development processes, system architecture and style guides
- Contribute to discussions on features and priorities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years experience as a Software Engineer
- Has completed major green field and overhaul projects as a sole or major contributor or as part of a team
- In depth understanding of and demonstrable experience in agile web development processes and associated tools including: code versioning, test driven development, API mocking, integration testing
- Experience in React.JS, React Native, or similar tools preferred
- Proficiency in developing prototypes and wireframes
- Proficiency in utilising restful APIs (GraphQL, OpenID highly desirable)
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills
- Full stack/back end development and/or DevOps experience well regarded but not essential particularly NodeJS and AWS services
